Lead mechanical consultant for the retrofit and improvement project at the Grand Hills Hotel & Spa, providing technical advice and implementation oversight. The retrofit project included replacing two of the three existing 360 ton chillers, and increasing the capacity of the existing generator heat-recovery system at this 5-star luxury hotel that includes 110 rooms, 52 furnished apartments, and a 4,100 sqm Royal residence.
The consultancy included review of contractors’ technical submittals and design, and on-site supervision of the retrofit work, in addition to providing the hotel staff and management with technical advice on operational and maintenance issues and improvement opportunities.
