Mall of Arabia (Cairo)

Prime on-location energy consultant working with Arup-Madrid and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on one of the largest malls in Egypt covering an area of over 180,000 m2 that include retail, dining, and entertainment, in addition to ample outdoor areas. The consultancy included conducting an energy audit and LEED assessment for the facility to identify energy and water conservation measures on the existing phase, and evaluate the potential for obtaining LEED certification for the new phase. The energy audit identified savings exceeding 35% of the yearly utility costs.
