Prime energy consultant providing energy modeling and design advice to assess the impact of the various value engineering (VE) measures for the Pinwheel lot 42. The project consists of two high-end mid-rise office buildings designed by Renzo Piano Architects (RPBW), including a health-club with an indoor pool and underground parking. Some of the building’s special features include a double skin facade with integrated photovoltaic and greenery.
In addition to assessing the impact of client-suggested VE measures, the consultancy focused on analyzing the building’s advanced facade, HVAC, and photovoltaic systems in order to identify other VE opportunities and assess them.
The scope also included a preliminary LEED energy assessment to identify if the building design can meet the LEED minimum energy requirements.
