Saint Elizabeth Hospital

LEED energy modeling and consulting for this new 90,000ft2 hospital with 26 beds, an emergency department, three operating rooms, an imaging department, and a roof-deck helipad for its patients. The energy modeling for LEED requirements was done using Trace700. Despite the inherent energy entisity of hospitals, inovative mechanical design allowed the building to exceed the minimum energy requirements, allowing it to achieve a LEED Silver certification in August 2011.
