Lead energy consultant performing energy modeling of multiple design options for renovated and new areas of several high-end malls using TRACE700 to estimate utility savings. Modeled systems included code minimum DX package, Air cooled chillers with Thermal Energy Storage (TES), and Water cooled chillers with TES. The analysis also included investigating rate structures and the appropriateness of Time of Use rates to TES savings maximization.
